We are going to appreciate that the image quality in the contrast ultrasound is of lower quality than the 2D image, that is because we need low transmission powers and therefore a low Mechanical Index that is related to the biomechanical effects of ultrasound, but it is not this power, so low, that does not cause any effect on the microbubble. This transmission power is closely related to wave amplitude and therefore to the quality of the image. The pulse of ultrasound will depend on The Power of Transmission. Vamos a apreciar que la calidad de imagen en la ecografía de contraste es de menor calidad que la imagen 2D, eso es porque necesitamos potencias de transmisión bajas y por tanto Indice Mecánico bajo que está en relación con los Efectos biomecánicos del ultrasonido, pero no siendo esta potencia, tan baja, que no ocasione ningún efecto sobre la microburbuja. Esta potencia de transmisión está en estrecha relación con amplitud de onda y por tanto con la calidad de la imagen. ![]()
